#TakeBackPride day 20 and we’re celebrating Kathleen Stock.
Stock is a British philosopher who has become a leading voice in the gender critical movement in recent years. She resigned from Sussex University following harassment from students & staff for her views on biological sex.
She released her book ‘Material Girls’ in 2021 which is credited with bringing the issue of gender ideology to a wider audience. She also appeared in the documentary ‘Gender Wars’ on Channel 4 which raised the issues further in the mainstream consciousness.
Recently, Stock appeared at the Oxford Union, an event which was mired in protest & controversy, but her reasoned, mild-mannered, and respectful opinions won on the day. She is an inspiration to the #LGB community and has become a lesbian heroine in 2023.
