Our Team

Annaïg is an exclusively same-sex attracted adult human female—or a lesbian, for those of us who still understand that words have meanings. At 18, unsure of her path in life, she immersed herself in the workforce, gaining diverse experience in roles ranging from nannying to factory work before discovering a passion for the legal field.

Through self-driven study, Annaïg passed several of Ireland’s solicitors’ entrance exams, with a focus on criminal law, family law, and systemic reform. She is particularly passionate about using her legal knowledge to advocate for political and legislative reforms, including improvements to the justice and family court systems to better support victims of crime and domestic abuse, as well as addressing harmful legislation impacting women’s and gay rights.

Outside of law, Annaïg has always had a deep love for writing, particularly poetry. Through her writing, she explore themes of relationships and feminism. In 2024 she was proud to have two poems published—a milestone she will no doubt build upon in the future.

Activism is one of Annaïg’s main passions. As a teen she was sucked into gender ideology through ‘LGBT+’ youth groups and would have considered her younger self a ‘liberal feminist’. Though her sense of justice was not always well-directed, she eventually found clarity in radical feminism, which inspired her to co-found Not All Gays.

As President, she is exceptionally proud to work alongside a group of young LGB friends to counter the weaponisation of same-sex attracted individuals in promoting harmful legislation, such as hate crime and surrogacy laws, and to challenge the rewriting of gay history.

At Not All Gays, we are committed to safeguarding children—particularly LGB youth—protecting free speech, and advocating for truthful and ethical representation of LGB lives and issues.

In addition to Annaïg’s work with Not All Gays, she is deeply committed to women’s rights and dedicates much of her time and activism to advocating for women and girls both in Ireland and across the globe.. Across law, activism, and writing, her ultimate goal is to champion justice, integrity, and the protection of society’s genuinely most vulnerable.

Seán Atkinson

Vice President, Co-Founder and Editor

Seán is a Dublin born and raised same-sex attracted male. Seán has always had a love for the arts and creativity, often times using his creativity to tackle difficult conversations with a sense of humour.

Since finishing school he has attended several different courses from Fine Art, Film & TV Production to finally settling down and achieving a bachelors degree in Animation.

Writing has always been Seán’s biggest passion since he was a kid where he would read out his own short stories to his primary school classroom. To this day his biggest dream in life is to be a successful author and is often times practicing his writing through journaling and writing short stories. Over the years he struggled to combine his passion for writing with his love for art and decided on pursuing animation to develop stronger storytelling skills through storyboarding and comic book design.

Since last year he has been working on his novel that he hopes to finish by the end of 2025. He describes his novel as a politically satire story that faces themes of radicalisation, grief and friendship.

Outside of writing fiction, Seán has an interest in investigative journalism and is currently working on several different projects that he hopes will shine a light on predators within the greater ‘LGBT+ Community’ as well as corruption within the Irish government.

Alongside members of the Not All Gays team, he wants to combat the Irish Government and Mainstream Media’s gaslighting and dehumanisation towards the people of Ireland by bringing back some humanity and showing that we are all just people who have every right to express our views and opinions without being labelled as ‘far-right’ or otherwise.

During his teenage years, feeling lost and confused, Seán was indoctrinated by the cult through ‘LGBT+’ youth groups. While it was a rough experience, it has only made him a stronger person due to the many challenges he was faced with at a young age that forced him to grow and learn how to stand up for himself and his beliefs.

He decided to co-found Not All Gays to provide an alternative voice for gay people who did not feel accepted or represented by the ‘LGBT+’ movement. Ireland’s introduction to the hate-speech laws were a turning point for Seán as he believes freedom of speech to be a staple human right and seeing this under attack he felt he couldn’t sit back and do nothing anymore.

One of his goals through Not All Gays is to make space for LGBs to have honest discussions without being exiled or labelled under the bigotry umbrella like so many of us have. But most all, Seán is proud of his Irish heritage and says the only flag that will ever represent him is green, white and orange.

Kaitlin Gina

Co-founder, Treasurer and Social Media Manager

Originally studying Law and Media Studies, Kaitlin’s love for the arts led her to changing courses and gaining a bachelors in Theatre and Performance Studies.

Since graduating she decided to pursue travelling so that she could see the world and grow as a person. She has a passion for learning and when her travels come to a close she is planning on gaining qualifications in Irish and Spanish in the hopes of becoming a language teacher. As of right now, Kaitlin can speak four different languages!

Kaitlin spent many years working in the challenging hospitality industry before settling down as a bookkeeper, but her passions extend far beyond numbers and spreadsheets. She has a deep love for creativity and self-expression in all its forms. Kaitlin enjoys sketching, painting, writing as well as singing and dancing.

For Kaitlin, movement, especially through dance feels like a powerful way to release stagnant energy from her body and gives her a way to reconnect with an inner sense of peace. Kaitlin finds one way to nourish both her body and soul is through cooking and often times finds joy in experimenting with different recipes and flavour combinations.

Beyond her creative outlets, Kaitlin is deeply drawn to spirituality. She is a believer in God and finds much peace in stillness, taking time to reflect, praying and reconnecting with herself. Her spiritual practice grounds her while offering her a sense of purpose and balance. She believes that life is a journey of growth and healing and is particularly passionate about supporting others on their spiritual path—especially when it comes to mental health. Having experienced her own struggles and risen from difficult times, she knows how transformative healing can be and wants to show others that it’s possible to move forward, find peace, and thrive.

As a teenager, Kaitlin leaned towards liberal causes like ‘LGBT+’ rights and liberal feminism, mostly adopting the popular views circulating on social media. Back then, she felt like there was no room for questioning—just share a post to prove you were on the “right side.”

Over time, she began to think deeper on things and realised that asking the wrong questions could get you in trouble. People were afraid to speak their minds, and it seemed like we were being told *what* to think, rather than how to think critically.

Now, she makes an effort to seek out different perspectives and stay open to respectful conversations, even when she disagree. She is still learning and making mistakes, but is committed to thinking for herself and growing along the way. Kaitlin is proud to be part of Not All Gays as a bisexual woman. She thinks the work we do is so important and we are only at the start of our journey as a group.

Monica

Researcher and Project Leader

Monica is an adult human female from Chicago who has lived most of her life in Dublin. She has a bachelors degree in Biomedical Science, and is currently working towards a masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Her greatest fascination in life is the intersection of physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing, with her ultimate career goal being to one day run a holistic health practice where she can help clients find healing by addressing all of the dimensions of their wellbeing in tandem.

Hobby wise, Monica is an amateur photographer; her photos are a memorialisation of the beauty she serendipitously encounters in the world, as well as a treasured record of her emotional experiences while witnessing that beauty. She has a love for practicing yoga, going for walks, exploring nature and the beautiful residential streets of the world. She also love reading books, especially on the topics of spirituality, holistic health, astrology, and feminism.

At a young age, Monica aligned herself with liberal feminism. This led her down a rabbit hole of social justice theories and movements that she uncritically absorbed into her identity and political consciousness. Fortunately, her approach to politics is far more critical and discerning today than it was in what she describes as her Tumblr-addicted teenage years.

Monica’s passion for human rights has only grown in strength and, as a bisexual woman and radical feminist, she decided to join Not All Gays because she had been seeking out an organisation that advocated for the unique rights of same-sex attracted individuals in a way that aligned with her views on the current LGB and political climate.
